Maintenance Notes:Self-cleaning, no dead-heading necessary. This plant can be trimmed back at anytime if you feel it is outgrowing its space. This is a low-key easy to grow plant. They will perform best with moist soil, but can handle some drought stress. They don't need to be fed much. Usually a dose of controlled or slow release plant food is sufficient for several months when planted in the landscape. If grown in containers they will do best with more regular feeding. Consult your plant food package for more detailed information.

This really is a great plant. I tried a lovely Bidens plant from a non-PW company because I loved its color and shape, but it fizzled out and never really performed. I was so excited when I saw that Proven Winners had released one. There were times throughout the season when it didn't have many blooms on it, but it has done great the majority of the time and is covered with blooms currently. It has gone through two frosts so far and almost seems to love the cooler weather; I would swear that it has doubled in size since that first frost. The temperature got very close to 32 deg F and it still is covered in blooms providing pollen and nectar for our native pollinators and honey bees. I am so happy with this plant and highly recommend it to others.
