    Uses Notes:

Weigela are excellent plants for creating privacy or screening off an unsightly feature like an air conditioner. They also make excellent landscaping plants and work nicely in perennial and flower gardens too.

    Maintenance Notes:

Weigela are not fussy about soil or care. Plant in full sun for the very best floral display, but some shade isn't too harmful, particularly in hotter climates. Regular pruning is not strictly required; however, if you wish to prune, do so immediately after flowering. Weigela are very resistant to damage from rabbits or deer.

    Fun Facts:

Why Czechmark? Because these three stunning weigela were developed in the Czech Republic.

    • I bought three 2 late summers ago. Planted two out in the landscape (where the deer reproduce and range uninhibited) and one inside the fence. WOW. The inside fence is just about full sun and I had NO IDEA this beauty would grow to 4' x 4'. It takes up a lot of real estate so off-bloom season one has to consider its value...and, since it's easily among the heartiest, healthiest and prettiest shrub I have well, it's earned its place! Outside the fence, in part shade, they're fine. The deer leave them alone ("my" deer eat basically everything now). I plan on moving them this fall (or early spring) to an outside-fence full sun area and let them flourish.

    • Can I give this lovely plant 10 stars? I LOVE Czechmark Wigela Trilogy~ I purchased 3 last early spring kept them inside until I knew it was a good time to plant. Result? 3 healthy hardy heavily flowering shrubs. I am on line to order 4-5 more! They are the best and the deer hate them!!! One other thing, I have used Proven Winners for my RED Azaleas -result? Lush-hardy and colorful. Proven winners are THE only plants for my garden!

    • Our Trilogy bushes are doing great! They have grown so much this first season, and I am already seeing blooms on one bush (and it is September instead of spring). I guess 2020 has everything messed up! We would definitely recommend these bushes to anyone.
