I garden in Hilton Head, SC (newly classified as Zone 9B). I had this little tunia, in white, in a pot on my patio, where it grew beautifully, trailing somewhat. We had a horribly cold winter (for us that is) with temperatures dropping below 32'F for days on end. We even had snow, a rarity here. To my great surprise the tunia survived, and bloomed. I rewarded it by planting it in my plating bed, where it proceeded to make a 14" diameter mount. I am hooked. I will be bying this from here on. Best plant ever! Jackie

Maintenance Notes:Supertunia® petunia plants are easy to grow and will flower non-stop from planting to hard frost if simple maintenance tasks are performed. Growing Supertunias in full sun to part sun is important for their strong growth and bloom performance. They do not require deadheading, meaning the removal of spent flowers, to stay in bloom all season.
Petunias thrive with consistent moisture. Do not let them wilt severely before watering again.
Supertunia petunias perform best when fed regularly with Proven Winners plant foods. At planting time, in containers and landscapes, mix Proven Winners Premium Continuous Release Plant Food into the soil, following the rates specified on the packaging. Reapply halfway through the growing season.
Additionally, Supertunias should be fed regularly with Proven Winners Premium Water Soluble Plant Food according to the rates specified on the packaging. For Supertunias growing in containers, feed every third time you water or at least once per week. For Supertunias growing in the ground, feed once every one to two weeks.

By midsummer, it will be time to trim up your Supertunias. Trim the longest stems, bringing them in line with the others, taking care not to remove more than 20% of the plant. Trimming petunias in the landscape is not usually necessary but cutting them back by 20% can make the plants fuller. Follow up by feeding them with water soluble plant food to promote fresh new growth and blooms.

These babies do not disappoint! Like most other varieties of supertunia I've tried, they are covered in blooms all summer. These have especially beautiful foliage compared to the colored varieties, darker green and lush. It's gorgeous next to the bright white flowers. Huge bonus with this variety: they smell incredible! I can smell them as soon as I step out the door.

I put two Mini Vista White petunias into a 14" hanging pot in a sunny location. They grew rapidly and were covered with snowy white flowers all summer. I found that they are better mounders than trailers. I didn't prune much, hoping that they would get longer, but that was a mistake. They just got leggy. But now in October they still look reasonably nice and are still flowering.

Picked one up in early May and here it is October 6, in Central MD, and still growing strong. Like most PW plants and all PW 'tunias, this chap needs only sun, water and occasional fertilizer. Brilliant white on dozens of mid size flowers make a striking image in my large pot. Strongly recommend and I can this is now my favorite white petunia.
