This actually did get 3' wide by 2 1/2' tall in full sun and heavily amended soil in a raised garden. It did not start to flower until the very end of August, making it a tidy, maintenance-free plant. The only thing I've had to do is trim it back because it was swamping some of my perennials. I had not expected it to get so big! It is gorgeous and particularly sets off Red Salsa ecchinacea, Victoria Blue salvia, or Jams 'N Jellies Blackberry Vinca.

I used it in a container with purples and it looked wonderful. The purple veins and lime leaves really made it stand out. Lasted well into fall
