Tempting Tomatoes^® Simmer Roma Tomato Solanum lycopersicum

Simmer a pot or two of fresh tomatoes this season with the most pickable Roma tomatoes. The plant is a sturdy indeterminate variety, which keeps the fruit up off the ground for ease of harvest and results in better fruit quality. It is loaded with long, cascading trusses of large, Roma-type fruit that resists cracking. The immature fruit is an eye-catching light green color that pops from the dark green foliage, ripening to solid red. Pick a basket of fresh tomatoes, then come back for another few large picks throughout the harvest season. Excellent for canning, sauces and salsas.
