I live in a basement apartment. At the bottom of the outdoor stairs that lead to my front door, I have a plant stand with a container. I’ve had an Ostrich Fern there for a while, but it gets an hour of intense sun each day, and it definitely suffered in those conditions. I replaced it with. ‘Seducer’ Hosta and it is THRIVING. It has endured the sun it gets, and has two new leaves coming in already. Thank you, PW!
