    • I ordered this plant back in Dec of 23 of 2023 as i plan out my container garden during the winter for the following season. It arrived in the appropriate planting time. The growths was in perfect condition and the leaf color was truly a deep maroon...quite beautiful... I have it in a mixed container with Wild berry Euchera ,Wedgewood Blue Angelonia, and Black Knight Hollyhock. Together the mix is stunning in the deep purple tones w/great foliage and floral contrasts. The Pineapple lilly foliage was thick and strong and now the inflorescence has emerged and the florets are beginning to open..the height of the inflorescence is approx 15 or so inches tall and it will continue to grow as the buds open..It has been a stunning feature in the mix of the variety. The wildberry's have produced many floral spikes and w/that and the pineapple lilly it really coordinates beautifully. The angelonias are starting to put on lots of growth albeit on the small size when i got them. Black knight is full and Im waiting for the flower stalk to emerge... I really look to create a continuous changing display throughout the season to keep things "fresh" to the eye. Planning a growth diverse visual keeps things changing and new. I get comments on my containers because people see these changes and tell me how they enjoy the "show" . The garden should keep us seeing new things all season long to prolong our love for how plants develop and change the look of our efforts in our love of gardening. Please continue to grow some of the less popular plants as they really are important to us to keep things fresh and exposing passers by to the diversity of your offerings. I am a big PW fan and love to look at the online catalog as soon as it comes out and plan a wonderful growing season to come...........Thank you for all your great quality ..Bob Perricone
