Even though this plant died on me, I give it five stars. I pushed the zone hardiness a bit too much, and then we just had a freakishly cold winter with a lot of ice. I'm in zone 7a, but I thought I could push the plant hardiness boundary since we usually have mild winters. The shrub arrived in beautiful shape, and it did great throughout the summer. It just, unfortunately, couldn't take our cold, unusually icy winter. Win some, lose some. Either way, it's fun to experiment. :)

I spring planted this shrub. It grew green until late summer when it started blooming. It grew alot in one season. Unfortunately it didn't return for me in zone 7B/8A.

I purchased 2 small pots several months ago ,spring 2024. No buds yet! Plant has but of sizable growth but as they said first year sleep, second creeps, third year leaps! Since they’re green and growing nicely I’m ok with that!

I received 2 quart containers from Proven Winners as a Mother’s Day gift. They are both growing beautifully. They have not set buds yet. Anyone else have this experience? In plant trials, how many years did it take for blooms?
