Planted a quart-sized plant in late May 2023. It really hasn't grown much, but it has started to bloom. I'm going to be patient as I know it takes time for plants to acclimate and mature. Hopefully it'll be a lot larger next year.

Planted in 2022 & had a few blooms. This year it has grown into a floriferous 2' shrub that is a hummingbird magnate! I adore this shrub and am considering adding more to our landscape. Sadly, this plant did not survive our overly harsh winter of 2023 to 2024. As it died, I'll not reorder another one

I purchased it back in April. It’s close to July. It took a while to finally see a bloom. I’m so happy and excited. It will take time and good attention to thrive. It’s exactly how it appears in the picture but is extremely fragile. ❤️

No vigor at all. Does not seem all that heat tolerant either. I have grown one of the hybrid parents (Bouvardia ternifolia) and its culture seems easier. Disappointed. Maybe iif it makes more root growth it will improve.
