    • I was excited to plant this in my border. I am careful to only plant deer-resistant shrubs and perennials, and I understand that deer will eat even deer-resistant plants if they are hungry enough. God bless them. So I came out to the garden on the third day after planting this plant and the top had been eaten off. I pulled it out because I won't stress or fight nature with preventative sprays. I have many beautiful and thriving shrubs and flowers that the deer do not bother so there is often a process of learning as I garden. Anyway, just a heads-up that you may find this perennial not very unpleasant to the deer. But, that's okay... Enjoy your gardens. Mine has been a refuge in this challenging time.

    • Purchased this beauty a year ago and have been delighted with it's health and appearance. It survived a record cold winter and emerged this spring with strong and abundant new growth. the vivid bloom color is fabulous! It really pops in the garden! Will be looking for other similar specimens!
