John Gaydos

Director of Product Development 

John Gaydos joined Proven Winners in 1998. In his present role, John is responsible for product development and promotion of the Proven Winners line, and acts as the company's spokesperson at trade shows, conferences and industry events. John is the main contact for cultural information, new product development and variety testing. He also serves as the liaison for information exchange between Proven Winners members and the industry.

A graduate of Ohio State University with a bachelor of science in floriculture, Gaydos brings more than 20 years of experience in the nursery/greenhouse industry. Prior to joining Proven Winners, he was a management consultant with Kraft Associates/ODA, Inc. He also spent 16 years with Bordine's Better Blooms, Inc. where he was responsible for daily operations within two retail greenhouse ranges and three production ranges. He has served on the board of directors for the Ohio Florist Association (OFA), worked on numerous OFA committees and served as president of the Ohio Floriculture Foundation.
