Hardy Zones

Zones are based on the lowest average temperature an area is expected to receive during the winter. They are used to determine whether a plant is likely to be perennial in your area. If your zone is equal to or higher than the zone listed for the plant, it will be hardy for you and thrive in your climate.

Outstanding My favorite plant, I recommend to others all the time and explain the reasons why I like it so much.
    • My 2 plants are in the correct location, properly taken care of, but - apparently our deer have not read that this plant is "deer resistant". In the three years I have had them, I have yet to see a single blossom on them. Everything is chewed off. I really wanted some color in front of my green shrubs. Oh well.....

    • Purchased 2 of these and neither survived the winter. What a shame because I thought they would be beautiful in my yard.

Unsatisfied Did not survive, inferior performance or did not bloom well - won't grow again.
    • Love the beauty of this shurb. It is a great surprize everytime it blooms in the middle of spring here in Nebraska. I watch for the first sign of blooms and am always surprized to find them open when I least expect.
