I purchased 2 of the Tater Tot Arborvitae and 2 of the Anna's Magic Ball. First one of the plants started to turn brown very quickly and the company refunded my purchase price. Within weeks, the second plant turned brown. I purchase these plants because they were described as easy to grow and would be content in a number of temperatures and were good for containers. None of that turned out to be true for me and I am extremely disappointed that they didn't live up to their anticipated ease in growing. However, the Anna's Magic Ball plants are doing great.

I bought just one of these cuties, planted it in a bed that gets mostly sun all day, but somewhat shaded from larger plantings. It is thriving. I will probably buy more of these little shrubs to intersperse with perennials.. I am very pleased with Tater Tot and recommend it.

We bought several plants to line the front of our house (we have a split level with a window at ground level - needed shorter plants that wouldn't block the light). Planted them last summer and they are doing great. Survived our cold winter and provided some evergreen interest. They get part sun and seem happy. Am looking forward to them growing more - hoping for them to reach 2'. Currently they are at 1'.
