Horrible. Did NOT rebloom as promised, except for a few flowers. In zone 7, NJ. They had 6 hours of sunlight daily. They were kept moist. I had 6, that were such an embarrassment to my front yard, that I’ve since moved them to the back where they won’t be seen. Their “special feature” was that the beautiful white blossoms that they had when I (foolishly believed what Proven Winners said on the tag) and purchased them, was the only time that plant ever looked good. Eventually when those flowers died, I was left with lots of dried, dead flowers that were such an eyesore, I had to deadhead all the plants. I was then rewarded with 1 or 2 flowers per plant, FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON, FOR ALL SIX PLANTS. Truly a Proven Loser, & a huge waste of my money, time and energy.

Pugster white was recommended and planted (6 shrubs) by a landscape designer in early March of this year along with an assortment of other PW plants. I am not a novice gardener, but this plant has caused me a lot of frustration. It has NOT been a good performer. The blooms are short/stunted (not full size as suggested) and leaves are constantly turning yellow/brown and dropping. It never looks pretty. I have adjusted watering by monitoring the soil and even though I've never had an issue with fungus or insects, I sprayed organic neem oil a few times just in case - all resulted in no improvement. Very, very disappointed with this plant. Please advise if you have any suggestions!

This is specifically about the white Pugster. I have bought various colors of Pugster. The white has been my weakest performer. Could be location or luck, but the other colors have been superior. I love the line of Pugster. People ask how I get such large blooms from a dwarf bush.

POLLINATOR MAGNET! Seriously, within minutes of planting a mass of these by my carport honey bees swarmed. The fragrance is phenomenal and the color is amazing. Bloom power is great. Just a great plant.
