    Features

Pollinators can’t resist the fiery red blooms of this high impact, low maintenance, heat tolerant annual. It makes a dense splash of color planted at the front of garden beds and also grows well in container recipes paired with other heat lovers like Luscious® lantana and Superbena® verbena. Since the self-cleaning flowers set little seed, the plant’s persistence in the garden is greatly reduced.

    Uses Notes:

Great for hanging baskets, patio planters and wonderful as a component in combination planters. Will perform well when planted in the landscape as well.

    Maintenance Notes:

Self-cleaning, no dead-heading necessary.  This plant can be trimmed back at anytime if you feel it is outgrowing its space. This is a low-key easy to grow plant. It will perform best with moist soil, but can handle some drought stress. They don't need to be fed much. Usually a dose of  controlled or slow release plant food is sufficient for several months when planted in the landscape. If grown in containers they will do best with more regular feeding. Consult your plant food package for more detailed information.
