    Features

    One of our hardiest plants!

Cesky Gold® dwarf birch is an exceptionally cold-tolerant dwarf birch. New growth appears in sunset hues of yellow, red, and orange, and cheerful chartreuse foliage carries the plant through the entire season. Allow to grow naturally, where its attractive, fan-like habit can be enjoyed, or prune it into a shape, like a low hedge.

Top reasons to grow Cesky Gold® dwarf birch:

    - Extremely cold tolerant - down to USDA zone 2 (that's as low as -50F/-45.6C)

    - Deer resistant

    - Colorful foliage looks interesting all season

    • This is my favorite birch, and a wonderful shrub for the garden, landscaping, or containers. I bought one in a local nursery a couple years ago and it's done great in a container in my zone 5b, and I ordered another one from this website this summer and it's wonderful as well! Shipping was prompt and the plant arrived safely and looked healthy and gorgeous right out of the box! I ordered a smaller one, but it looks great with lots of branches and a vigorous root system.
